I’m also in the SW19 area and I’m really hoping this isn’t as bad as the 4 days without internet before Christmas. Still got internet so suspect it’s something in the VM TiVo backend. still typical that I’m having to watch the only football game I’ve got time to watch on my laptop.
It has clearly been a national fault. It is also a serious shame that the service status page has been out of action all day too. That looks like the usual issue of doing page maintenance at the weekend. Pity it coincided with the outage.
When I was able to get through on the phones there was a clear message, in a very soft voice, about a serious service outage (once you had got past the menu system into TV faults). But it is true that earlier in the day there was also a very curt message on system saying sorry, busy, phone back later. VM's twitter account was responding about it a well.
Still for customers in my bit of billing area 03 the service is restored.
