Why is the sound low on BT Ultimate football? I normally watch HD games at sound level 16 on my TV but I have to turn it up to 40 when it's on BT ultimate. Any ideas? Thanks.

This is the only channel that gives me the problem - channel 531 on Virgin V6.

Can you try to see if these steps help at all? On your set top box go to > Help & Settings > Settings > Audio > Dolby digital and select Dolby digital to PCM.

Thanks. I changed to PCM and the sound returned to my normal level, solving my problem. This creates a different situation - it made no difference to the rugby yesterday but improves my football commentary listening. Also, if I apply PCM to a HD football match, it has the effect of raising the crowd noise level and leaving the commentary level the same, with the result that the crowd noise drowns out the commentary and I have to remove PCM. Maybe this is food for thought for the audio engineers at the matches.
