Issue with certain TV channels

Tuning in

Over recent days some channels the picture keeps breaking up Blaze being the worst. I recorded some programmes on National Geographic UFOs Investigating the Unknown as it looked like a good series done by real professionals, anyway first two episodes were fine but the third most of it was not there just a black screen until just before the end. Anyone have the same happen?

Is Comedy Central Extra (182) also not working correctly (if it’s in your package)?

If it’s also affected this points to an incoming signal issue that would need investigating.

...and if the channel mentioned above is affected, then a signal problem you have...

Pixellated pictures on live TV are often the sign of a signal fault. If you've rebooted your box once, then there's likely a fault somewhere, so this will need VM to intervene. You're likely to need either an engineer visit or a replacement box, depending on what VM's remote diagnostics turn up.

First check the automated faults line for any existing issues in your area that could be the cause: 0800 5610061. If nothing's reported, assume VM don't know about your fault and ideally you'll need to call them.

150 from a VM phone, 0345 4541111 from any other phone - choose the options for "I have a fault with my TV service". Alternatively you can wait on here for staff to respond, which may take a day or so.

Hi @JJones49,

Welcome back to our Community Forums! Thank you for your post and I'm sorry to hear that you're having some issues with your TV signal and that it's impacting your viewing experience!

This is not the service we want our customers to have and I'll do all I can to assist. I've taken a look at our systems and there are no local outages impacting your local area which could explain the issues you're having.

Have you taken a look at our TV help page to see if this can identify any issues?

I'll be happy to investigate this further via Private Message. Please keep an eye out for an envelope at the top right corner of your Forum page. I'll be in touch soon.

Thank you.

No comedy extra is working okay. I thinking where ever the signal comes from is it weather related although I have been told of a technical issue which should hopefully be sorted soon.

Thanks for your help although I do get some Pixellated pictures on live TV it is more non live.
