Incompetent customer service

I need to speak to someone about my new V6 box. This is my 5th or 6th attempt to speak to someone and action the most basic instructions

Live chat is down on the website (which is impossible to find ath te best time)

4 phone calls

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired 2 WiFi,) SH2 in modem mode with Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's. On VIVID200, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

Only someone from Virgin with the power to send out the coax adapter for the V6

My virgin box froze, and finally a replacement came last week (after the original wasnt actually posted the previous week) but turned up without remote or cable adapter. I called to complain, was told the two parts would be sent out in the post and today only the remote turned up

OK VM staff do pick up these threads but it can be a day or two - I would try calling in again - they are still picking up the phone.

V6's are just swap over... and the cables adapters etc are left in place and the remotes work on any box. Did you not keep your cabling and remote and just plug and go? Or was it taken away by a tech?

yes, i thought thats the case which is why im not happy that twitter customer service palmed me off here. 

Ive moved from the old style box to the new. The cable doesnt fit and i need an adapter, which has not been sent. Twice

Thank you for joining our Forums 

Its a shame that you have had to though. 

What I will need to do is send you a PM to get account details 

Once that has been done I would look at booking an engineer to come round and connect the box. 

If we sent the adapter out, you are then relying on a postal service that may delay it even more
