I need a new V6.

Can someone please send me a new V6 as my old one is faulty and it's impossible to get through to your staff.  I asked on here before in a similar thread, but it was ignored, so i'm now trying by starting mg own thread.

This is why it's always preferable to start your own thread rather than tacking onto an existing one 🙂 I've merged your posts together.

VM staff are currently taking upto a week to respond on here, so officially the only advice anyone can give is to keep persisting with calling through to faults-C/S, some suggest calling earlier in the day yields better results.

What is the actual fault you have? It may just be possible to resolve it with help online? If we don't know, we certainly can't... if we do, there's half a chance 🙂

I've heard of the occasional TiVo doing this if there's no internet connection when the EPG calls home for an update, so it's worth checking your V6 has a working internet connection - Home > Help & Settings > Settings > Network, and check the top-right corner.

Otherwise, yeah that's a call to faults I'm afraid.

What is the current status of your box?

 

Are you getting in any error messages on your screen?

 

Does the box load up and let you watch TV?

Hi,

Thanks for your message.  It's still the same, no error messages, it randomly reboots itself so it's impossible to record anything or watch anything already recorded.  Getting really fed up now, is this grounds to end my contract with Virgin?

VM staff would usually confirm replacement boxes or engineer visits on here, or at the very least by a PM. If you've not heard, I would assume not.
