I have a incoming box in two rooms one is tv theother broadband are they interchangeable.

A VM co-ax connection can be used for either TV or broadband, if that's what you're asking.

Thanks I can now swop rooms ie router in one room and TV in the other.

Thanks for coming back to the thread. I am sorry I still don't understand what you're trying to do. Are you trying to move the TV box and broadband router constantly?

The problem is solved I want to put the router where the Tv was and the Tv where the router was.
