How to get a technical call

I upgraded my tv package which meant I had to use a new v6 box. The box was delivered on the 11 Jan.

On install the new box never updates but resets after the download icon appears for about a minute.

I have been forunate enough to get tbrough to customer support on 3 occasions since then and the tell its fixed and to wait and call back.

I need a technical call but I only ever get customer support.  

I make a complaint on th 20th but nothing.

How do I get out the infinite cycle without cancelling my TV.

Hi did you phone the activation number 0800 9539500 have your account number area code and serial number of the box to hand. Regards Micky

I  have been trying this morning the 2 times I did get through the call was hung up by Virgin whilst I was waiting in the queue. On 1 occassion the advisor ask how he could help then the call was dropped

Also I have managed to get through ti them three times during the past 2 weeks.  But they are unable to help but do not put me through for a technical call.

Did you ring the number i advised as this is an automated number, you don't speak to a call handler.

Are you sure this was a V6, and not a V360? I'm not aware of any TV packages that insist on a V6.

Check here if you're not sure.

The advice thus far, to call in with activations issues, is correct.

Yes thanks it was defo a V6. I was upgrading from a Tivo box.

Finally issue resolved after my new box was replaced with another one.
