Loss of pic and sound. Then black screen with sound then pic no sound. Been doing it for over a year, just had an upgrade to V6 and it's still doing it.

Hi @RemFan, thank you for your response.
Did the engineer provide any suggestions for rectifying what he felt is the likely cause?

If the box has recently been replaced but you're still having the same problem then that suggests the problem is likely elsewhere. Have you tried a different HDMI cable or different HDMI socket in the TV? Or could it even be a fault with the TV?

I used to think that was the issue, so unplugged, re-plugged in. Same issues. Used a new(er) hdmi lead, and not much changed. When the engineer came to upgrade, there was a split in the casing to the copper coax and he suggested this is likely the cause. Have to say the engineer was great. Seems to happen pretty soon after turning it all on, not every time. Bit frustrating. Only happens to the VM to TV cable (whichever HDMI slot is used).

He replaced the the cable from the actuator to the V6 box.

Hi @RemFan,
So is it fair to say you've seen an improvement since then, but it's just not completely resolved?

Yes, marginal. With it being intermittent it's frustrating.
