How can I connect my V6 box to the internet wirelessly?

I have a new v6 box and can't get past a connection problem S 322which appears at the end of the  Installing Software page. Everything loads ok up till Verifying.  We have wires plugged into back of V6 but going nowhere and a booster nearby.

How can I solve this.? Is my system activated if I can see the Installing software page??

Re: How can I connect my V6 box to the internet wirelessly?

Is this a fault replacement V6 or new install?

The V6 needs two connections to work..

1: The coax cable carrying your TV channels

2: An Ethernet or wireless link to your homehub for the internet.

Are both of these present?

When you say 'wires plugged into back' does that include an Ethernet cable? If so, then disconnect it. Wireless only works if you don't have an Ethernet cable attached.

Take the Ethernet cable out of the V6 and see if the install completes.

If it does, your Ethernet connection to the ‘booster’ was the issue.

Do you mean by this that the coax is plugged into virgins network outlet as well as the box? If it isn't thats the source of your problem.

Have you followed the onscreen instructions to connect your V6 to your home router by WiFi instead?

The V6 needs an internet connection. Whether it's by Ethernet cable, or by WiFi, it needs one of the two.
