Every time I try and use an online service on my box, such as the Amazon or Netflix app, I have to test my internet connection first.
My connection is good, I never have any speed issues or collection issues on anything else. Every time I run the test the are no issues and I can use everything straight afterwards.
What happens if you don't do the test connection first?
And are you able to use OnDemand services ok?

No, I can't use them. I go to try and load the apps page and on the first press nothing happens, on the second it asks me to test the connection
Most odd - I've never come across that one before! Not that I disbelieve you, but are you able to take a pic of this message and upload it on here? I'm curious, apart from anything else!
What're your box power saving options set to? Home > Help & Settings > Settings > Devices > Power saving
We're set to eco low power.
