HDMI cable

Hi

I have having regular issues which means i am having to replace the HDMI cable between the TV and the TV box. The box is less than 12 months old and is the second box in the house. The issue is that initially the TV can't find any signal and then after restarting the TV box there is either a shrunken picture and no sound or a full picture and no sound. Through a process of elimination and using the other box in the house i have managed to identify the issue was with the HDMI cable and swapping it out fixes it. Problem is I am now having to replace HDMI cables at a rate of about one a month with the last one lasting less than a week....a close to £10 per cable this is starting to be expensive. The TV works fine with other HDMI devices, so it feels very much like the TV box is 'blowing' the cables.

Is there anything i need to be doing and has anyone else come across this??
