Hi,
My recordings in HD are all garbled up and unwatchable. Not the case with SD recordings. Also some buttons on my remote not working anymore (subtitles, volume). Box and remote are 4 years old.
Please help. Thanks,
Angela

Is your live TV OK? How about if you pause live TV and watch slightly delayed?
There's no difference in how SD & HD recordings use your hard drive, but delayed TV is also a recording.
Replacement remotes can be ordered at https://www.virginmedia.com/help/virgin-tv-lost-or-damaged-tv-remote/download-tv-control-app

Hi japitts,
yes, live TV is fine but when I pause it and play it delayed it is messed up again. It’s with the HD channels but there are hardly any SD ones left.
Thanks for your advice.
On remote volume button and subtitles don’t work and cannot switch telly on and off on it. Need to use TV remote for that. Never used to be like that.

Thank you for confirming @tanzfroggy, I'm sorry to see this is still not working for you.
There is nothing obvious showing on our end that could be causing this so I am going to send you a PM to confirm your details so this can be checked further.
