HD Recordings garbled in pictures and sound

Hi,

My recordings in HD are all garbled up and unwatchable. Not the case with SD recordings. Also some buttons on my remote not working anymore (subtitles, volume). Box and remote are 4 years old.

Thanks for chatting with me via PM @tanzfroggy, I'm glad I was able to arrange a tech for you so this issue can be resolved. 

If you need to cancel or change your appointment this can be done via your online account here at least 24 hours before the date. Someone over the age of 18 needs to be in for this too.

Is your live TV OK? How about if you pause live TV and watch slightly delayed?

There's no difference in how SD & HD recordings use your hard drive, but delayed TV is also a recording.

Thank you for your post and I am sorry you are having some issues with your recordings, can you please answer @japitts so we can best help?
I have checked our systems and there are no outages that could affect this.

Hi japitts,

yes, live TV is fine but when I pause it and play it delayed it is messed up again. It’s with the HD channels but there are hardly any SD ones left.

On remote volume button and subtitles don’t work and cannot switch telly on and off on it. Need to use TV remote for that. Never used to be like that.
