We’ve had this screen in our second TiVo box for 3 days. We’ve waited 3 hours, reset everything and it’s still not resolved.

If this is the "DVR has detected a problem" green screen, it means your hard drive has failed.
You need to report this to VM so they can arrange a replacement for you. TV Faults are on 150 (From a Virgin phone) or 0345 4541111 from any other phone.
