Can we have an app on the TV G6 for Google TV, as I was going to rent a movie last night on the Tivo V6, but I'm only able to purchase it.

I already have it purchased on my phone, so it would have been useful to be able to just download the app

You cannot download apps to Virgin boxes. They are rented boxes which Virgin owns & controls.

Any company wanting to put an app VMs boxes has to sign a carriage agreement with them & develop an app specifically for the TiVO or Horizon platform firmware at their own expense.

VM 350BB 2xV6 & Landline. Freeview/Freesat HD, ASDA/Tesco PAYG Mobile. Cable customer since 1993

Thank you for your quick response

Happy to see the support from the forums Kriminal, as advised apps need to be agreed by Virgin Media. There are hundreds of movies available via On Demand and the Virgin Media store for purchase or rental. What film were you looking at?

I was looking for A Monster Calls, but it was only showing available to purchase and not rent

As a Prime Video customer I can rent "A Monster Calls" for £3.49 in HD. Rentals include 30 days to start watching this video and 48 hours to finish once started.

Oooh... that's interesting; worth knowing.

I'll have a look into that.

Thanks 👍
