France 24 Sound problem

Has anybody else noticed the sound problem on France 24 ?  It seems to be slightly out of sync and the announcers seem to be distant rather than speaking directly into the microphone. This has been going on for the last few days.

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with this.

 

I've tested this on our office TiVo and it seems to be working okay. Are you still experiencing sync issues on this channel?

I have the issue on france24 English were the sync is out with the sound and picture but is fine on the red button and the French version and all other channels fine

Yes - you are correct the problem has not gone away - I noticed yesterday that there is definitely something wrong on this channel.

Hopefully a technician will check into it.

I've had this problem since France24 went to HD.  Very annoying and makes the channel unwatchable.

@Virgin When will we get a fix for this?

I have had a serious problem with sound on this channel (832) for the past 2 days. Ther is no sound at all except for a very loud continuous buzzing noise. All other channels - including the English language version of France 24 - function normally. I reported the problem today and was told Virgin would "investigate" but that this would take at least 48 hours.

We are sorry about any delay getting this sorted out - we have replicated the issue here in the office also and this has been raised yesterday.  It is currently being investigated and once we have any updates on the situation we shall let you know.
