Faulty HDMI on tv box

I have tried to call but the delays and lack of operatives is a source of severe frustration!

The V6 box we have upstairs has developed two faults: the hdmi socket is faulty so the picture flickers on and off unless held in position, and we cannot now get some channels due to signal. It's not a fault in the area, and I would appreciate if an engineer could sort this please!

Re: Faulty HDMI on tv box

You are best to call.

Sorry to say, but posting on here isn't an alternative to calling.

Re: Faulty HDMI on tv box

Thanks for responding, I resorted to this because I'd seen responses from engineers on other posts.

Re: Faulty HDMI on tv box

You will have done - staff do monitor this board, but their responses tend to be prioritised.

Re: Faulty HDMI on tv box

Have you tried a new HDMI lead?  Seems strange it affects some channels more than others
