Fault on TV VOD services including recording

Why does it take Virgin so long to fix an issue with the VOD service including recording - they have been working on this for four days and still no resolution. They claim that they will text or email progress on the fix but no contact after four days. Anyone else have similar issues?

VOD & recording are two entirely different services and I'm struggling to think of a fault that could knock them both out (aside from total loss of service)

Which box do you have - TiVo or V6? What are the issues you're having?

All sorted now - it was a fault with the V6 box
