Failed while negotiating the tv service.

my V6 has a wired connection to the my hub a v3 and gets an up address but when trying To connect to the media service it fails.

i have turned the v6 box off for 20 minutes I have rebooted my hub but still fails. 
annoying as I have no catch up tv nor can I connect via my phone app to record things. 
really inconvenient.

Hi Laurainherts,

 

Welcome to our community and thanks for posting. How annoying is this when you want to watch something from our on demand services.

 

As you are directly connected through the hub can you make sure that all your cables are tight and secure at the back of the box and router? If you have already tried this have you tried plugging in the Ethernet cable on a different port on your router and tried to connect to the on demand services again?

 

Please can you let us know how you get on so we can assist you further.
