Exiting Apps on V6

I am new to virgin and have read on other faqs about white snowy pictures on accessing or exiting apps...having finally been able to log into Netflix and prime..the only issue remains is that I get a white snow screen when trying to either enter or exit an app and cannot go back..I have to switch the tv off and back on again and it’s hit and miss whether the app comes up or it defaults onto Home Screen...only installed saturday have I got a faulty v6 box and just unlucky? I am not putting up with this every time I want to go into any of the apps...

What're your video output settings confgured to? And are you watching on a 4K UHD TV, or a "standard" HD one?

I'm wondering if this could be an issue with the app using a different output resolution to your normal TV channels, and this is a switching issue.
