Error code m63 on v6 box

  • Received a replacement v6 box today installed it (on bedroom tv) as advised, showed channels missing saying issue on account, rebooted box and all ok. Now the v6box on the main tv is showing the same issue - error code m63. Rebooting box, moden haven't worked. Engineer booked for next Tuesday,  wondered if anyone has any idea as it seems weird this has happened afternes box installed in other tv?

Hi Karenhawley7,

The M63 error code means your account isn't set up correctly.

You've received a replacement V6 box which is in the bedroom and working.

The main V6 box looks like it's been decommisoned instead of the box that was replaced.

So it looks like the box on the main TV needs reactivating.

Make a note of the serial number for that box, also your account number and area and call 0800 953 9500, which is the activation line.

If they can't help then it's TV Faults - Options 1,1 and 2 when dialling 150 from a Virgin landline or mobile, or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone
