Error code 7400

Our TiVo box upstairs stopped working and virgin sent a new box out. We set it up as instructed and it works fine but the main tivo v6 box downstairs is now showing error code 7400. I called the call centre and was on hold for 35 minutes then they just cut me off. Any help would be appreciated

The box downstairs needs activating. It sounds like they deactivated that instead of the old Tivo.

You need to phone to get your box activated. 0800 953 9500. Best try at 8am in the morning, or wait and see if this is picked by Forum Staff who may be able to do it

EDIT - you will need the serial number of the box that's not working
