Had supply power drop which resulted in hub not working. Rebooted and switched on again .TV working and wi-fi okay. Days later several To Be Announced messages appeared. Now three quarters of channels showing same. Box in bedroom working fine. Error message codes M59, N27 V210. Also network cable unplugged, but has never been connected in this way.

Your box is having difficulty connecting with the Virgin Media service. Please can you check that your TV box is connected correctly. Make sure the white cable coming out of your TV box is firmly connected.
Using your TV box remote, please follow the steps below:
Select the home button
Use the directional buttons to select Help & Settings
Select Connection in progress: get status or Connect to the Virgin Media Service now
