Downgrade

Ive been trying to downgrade my TV package, i was on hold for an hour and then was cut off. It seems so easy to upgrade online and spend more money but impossible to remove services. Is there anyway that im missing where i can do this all online?

thanks

Re: Downgrade

Hi Savis17

Can I direct you to the online chat system to attend this?

As you can imagine phone lines are very busy with increased home working etc based on the current situation.

Thank you for your patience and your time.

All the best

Paul

Re: Downgrade

I have the same problem here. I attempted to do this online but failed miserably, been in telephone queue for just short of an hour then got cut off

Today is 27th of March, my contract runs out on 3rd of April and Virgin have already sent me the bill due in April including a substantial hike in the price!

Will it be possible to downgrade package online once out of contract?

I would really like to get this sorted, but given the current circumstances feeling I'm hitting a brick wall here

As Virgin media currently cannot service their users needs by phone, why don't you give them the option to service themselves online?????

Thanks

Re: Downgrade

Hi Engineer81

Have you tried reducing your package via the my virginmedia app?

Go to "package"

That will take you to the website, where you can browse "upgrades & offers"

*sometimes an upgrade will reduce the cost of your package whilst also getting extra products or services, might be worth a look. 🙂

Re: Downgrade

You can’t downgrade online and you can only upgrade online if you have no discounts on your current contract.

Paul - FMI - I have just logged in (again) and I cannot see the chat function (again) - has it been removed or is it cunningly hidden somewhere on the home page?

Re: Downgrade

Hi John

Are you logging on via computer?

If you are on the home screen there should be a "Need Some Help?" tab in red at the bottom of the screen once you have been through the series of questions it ports you to live chat.

If you are on a smart phone once signed in a red bar comes up at the bottom of the screen "Need Some Help?" Again as above once you have answered the series of questions it ports you to live chat.

All the best

Paul
