Does anyone ever answer the phone!

I have a virgin media V6 box since August and today its just flashing red and white, stuck on the start up screen. Non responsive.

I did the power down, wait 5 mins, hold power and + and turn back on. It started up and then went straight into the same broken mode. Can't use it whatsoever.

 

Vant get through to VM Customer service and all the sodding advice it gives online is to call. 

We have a fault in the area but it's for manages devices online so shouldn't be linked to this stupid box issue. 

Can someone please tell me how to sort this or lend me a carrier pigeon to contact VM customer care.?

Realistically you have 3 choices here..

1: The text message service (07533 051809) has a turnaround time of 2-3 days

2: Posting on here for VM staff response is currently taking around a week

3: Try calling through to 150, perhaps earlier in the day... sometimes queues do build up, but unfortunately these are not normal times and VM have been especially harder hit than some companies, by the forced closure of offshore call centres.

Send a text message to 07533 051809 to kick it off - it's an auto-bot to begin with, you then get put into a queue for an agent further on.
