Hi,

Any sign of the app being launched for the V6 box?

Thanks

Re: Disney+ App

Hello

Not at this time, it would be down too Disney to come to an agreement with VM to place the app on the V6 and also Disney would have to develop the app for the V6.

Re: Disney+ App

Thanks Mike,

It seems strange that it hasn't been sorted yet, VM have the best internet platform by some margin and Disney have a channel or app available on most other platforms. I know that Sly have boxed off the 'channel' route but an app would seem to be in both companies best interests.

Cheers

Re: Disney+ App

You can get Disney+ on various devices including:

  • Fire TV Stick (in my experience this worked well)
  • Roku devices
  • Android and iOS devices (cast to Chromecast if you want to watch on your TV)
  • Now TV stick or box - but only in HD (1080p)

Re: Disney+ App

Hi Roger,

That's precisely the problem, I've got (many and) various devices 😀

It would be really good to reduce the number and not just for the Boss's benefit.

Cheers

Re: Disney+ App

You can probably move to Sky but for some people that would bring more trouble than the benefit of gaining the Disney+ app.

For myself, in addition to my V6 I have a Fire TV Stick and a Now TV box. I don't think that I'm the only person to use three devices for TV and VOD, but if I want BritBox I can hook up an old TalkTalk Freeview box I happen to have, but this would start to look ridiculous.
