DVR has serious problem message

I can see that many other people have encountered this problem. Am I right in thinking that helpers on the forum can get through to Virgin and request a technician’s visit.  My daughter has had the green screen message on her tv all day since early morning and neither phone calls (can’t get through) or using the text service have brought success. Text service cut off mid diagnostics!  Her box is only a couple of weeks old.  Thank you.

You're right, this message means your box's hard drive has failed and you need a replacement.

Virgin forum staff do respond to posts on here, but it can take several days at the best of times, and currently some are taking a week.

The quickest way to report service faults is to call - 150 from a Virgin landline, or 0345 4541111 from any other phone.

Thanks for your help. Have been trying to get a response by phone all day but I guess we’ll have to keep trying!
