DVR has detected a serious problem

Hello, I am receiving the error message "The DVR has detected a serious problem..." on a green page shown on my TV. This appears whenever I try to start my TiVo box. I have read in the forum I will need a new box, but I am unsure how to go about sorting/collecting this. Can anyone provide relevant advice please. I have kept the box turned on, turned it off, and it keeps going through the same routine of going blank to 'Starting up' and then automatically to this message, and then repeat...repeat...repeat.

Please can someone kindly provide some help.

The quickest method is to call 150 from a Virgin phone, or 0345 4541111 from any other phone.

Follow the options for "I have a fault with my TV service", and speak to an agent.

They'll arrange for a replacement box.
