Copy series links

Having multiple annoying issues with my v6 box:

Fails to wake from standby (requires power cycle)

Regularly (every 1 min 6 seconds) losing picture for couple of seconds (requires power cycle)

I have a virtually unused v6 box in another room, is there any way I can easily transfer the series links to it so I can just swap them over myself?

It may be worth trying the copy option to see if it was ever fixed.

No. There was a system which Virgin continued to advertised over a year after it stopped working.

Although the plus side with TiVo-firmware is that you don't need a programme to be in the 14day EPG to set a series link.

So on the basis you have 2 live V6's which can multiroom stream between each other, you could start working through the "Manage my series links" option on the bad V6, and start replicating those SL's on the other one.

Just find a single episode of each programme somewhere in the EPG/guide/VoD listings and hey presto.

Thanks for the URL

Powered my 'spare' tivo up and let it update then used that to copy the series links.

They have all (96 of them) appeared on the box so that appears to have worked a treat!

Good to know it is working again
