Re: Contact Virgin

Have you checked for any known area issues first - 0800 5610061 is a free, automated line and often lists faults down to street/postcode level.

If not, then this could well be an account specific issue, C/S reopen at 8am.

Re: Contact Virgin

Hi Lizholls,

Thanks for reaching out to us in our community, I am sorry your TV isn't working since your Technician visit, I believe S101 is a network issue when the technician fixed the internet did he change the router if so have you connected to this either by ethernet or via WiFi using the new password on the new Router .

Please try and press home, connections then connect to the virgin media network now.

Regards

Paul.

Re: Contact Virgin

@Lizholls

As per Paul's suggestion, can you follow on your V6... Home > Help & Settings > Settings > Network.

What's reported in the top-right?

Re: Contact Virgin

Router too far away to connect with cable.

Engineer has rung and its still not working.  I am absolutely certain its to do with the white cable, it doesnt appear to have been put in the junction box properly.

Re: Contact Virgin

What Paul is suggesting, and I missed in your original post...

Your V6 connects to the internet via your home-hub. This has been swapped, and so has taken your V6's internet connection with it.

Your home broadband, you say is working. So we may just need to reconnect your V6 to home-hub. It should be easy, but as per my post above, what does the network connection screen report?

Forget WiFi or Ethernet for now, what does it say?
