Rehomed a rabbit, rabbit has chewed the coax cable from the v6 box and now it won’t connect to WiFi! Do I need to ring virgin to get another (if so, will an engineer come out and cost a fortune?) or can I buy a standard Ethernet cable and plug into the back of router?
If its the coax that is damaged, just call it in as a fault and they should send you replacement pre-made 1m or 3m cable (which do you have?) or organise a tech visit to sort it. In most of these cases there wont be a charge, if the rep tries to charge you, just say no and call again at a different time or wait on here and a VM Team member will help you out in a day or two.
If it is the ethernet cable then just get a new Cat6 one from Amazon for a couple of pounds.
