Clicking

My V6 Box keeps clicking and won’t switch on! Amber light on front of box is permanently on along with the clicking noise. Don’t seem to be able to talk to anyone from Virgin due to Covid so any help would be appreciated??

That does sound horribly like a failed/failing hard drive, which is likely to become terminal at some point.

You need to be calling C/S to report this - call queues may be longer due to Covid, but they should be open.

Forum staff should pick this thread up otherwise, but it may take days - you can probably get through by phone sooner than that 😉

A warm welcome to our Community Forum PeteBradbury84 and sorry to hear about the V6 box clicking and not behaving itself! I've had a peek at your details and can see that an engineer has been arranged since you last posted. Please let us know how the visit goes and fingers crossed it's a simple fix.
