Channels missing from V6 box after recontracting.

Hi, I phoned Virgin Media earlier today as I was out of contract and since agreeing to a new deal some of the kids channels are missing from the V6 box in the living room.  All the channels are present on the 2nd box upstairs.  The missing channels are Cartoon Network HD, Cartoon Network+1, Nickelodeon HD, Nick+1 and Boomerang+1.

I have tried rebooting the box, reconnecting to the network and refreshing the channel list which hasn't solved the issue.

Can anyone help with this or am I going to have to phone them up again?

What has happened is that TV XL or TV Full House that you previously had has been replaced with Maxit TV which does not include many of the kids channels.

These are now available only as an add-on chargeable extra.

You will need to discuss this with Virgin Media.

I am aware of that and I do have access to ALL the kids channels on the 2nd box as I checked several times when on the phone to Virgin that all the kids channels would still be available, it is only a few of the extra kids channels that are missing from the living room box.

Unless you are paying the additional £5 a month for the kids pack you won’t get them on Maxit TV. It’s only a matter of time before the second box picks up the account change.

Not all the channels are missing.  I am paying for the extra channels.

If you follow Home > Help & Settings > Help > TV Care > "I'm missing some channels", this should send a hit to the box to make sure your EPG reflects your account.

The extra kids channels which were offered for free  were removed from the Maxit and other packages on 30th October new-kids-channels 

The following link ChannelGuide  shows the channels available and their respective packages.

And this is a link to the Personal Picks  The Kids pick is £5 per month extra.  The other picks are £7 for the first pick, and £5 for any additional picks. Personal Picks can be cancelled every 30 days

Spoke to customer service on the phone and the channels are all sorted out now.
