Channel pixelating

Tuning in

Hi, I have a V6 box and quite a few of the channels are regularly pixelating.

Done reboots, checked cables.

No faults recorded in the area. It seems to be getting worse each week and has been going on for some weeks.

I'm in Luton, does anyone have any ideas. Trying to find a way to easily report it to virgin but given up.

Is it the same channels each time?

Are the channels it's happening on showing live events at the time it happens?

Pixellated pictures on live TV are often the sign of a signal fault. If you've rebooted your box once, then there's likely a fault somewhere, so this will need VM to intervene.

First check the automated faults line for any existing issues in your area that could be the cause: 0800 5610061. If nothing's reported, assume VM don't know about your fault and ideally you'll need to call them.

150 from a VM phone, 0345 4541111 from any other phone - choose the options for "I have a fault with my TV service". Alternatively you can wait on here for staff to respond, which may take a day or so.

Thanks for posting. I'm really sorry to hear you've been having issues with your picture quality on your TV service.

 I've had a quick look and can see that there's a lot of errors showing on our end which is probably the cause, and we'll need to book an engineer visit so that these issues can be resolved.
