Catch up TV blury

I have seen this posted previously but not seen an answer, cause or resolution to it.

 

Any help would be gratefully received

Thanks for your post on our Community Forum and a very warm welcome to you.

 

Sorry to see you're having a blurry picture on Catch Up. We would need some more information regarding this, firstly - is this issue still effecting you?

 

Can you tell me if this has been cited as an outage on our Service Status Checker - virg.in/service

 

We'd also be intrigued to know if you can advise us on which Catch Up services this is effecting, is it BBC, ITV etc..or do you experience this over all platforms? Are there any particular shows that this has been effecting?

 

It would also be worth making sure that all connections running to and from the set top box are tightly secured and if you're able to, use an Ethernet cable to connect to the broadband services as this will offer a more stable connection than Wi-Fi

 

Further information would be most helpful in attempting to diagnose the problem

Hi, 

 

As far as I am aware the problem is still happening.

My wife pointed it out when watching the Housewives of Cheshire. 

 

I also dont feel we are getting the broadband speeds that we have signed up for.

I can sit next to the hub and over wifi I am maxing out at 250mbs, where we are supposed to be on 500mbs.

I move away and the speeds drop off rapidly.  

 

I have powerlines off this around my house as the signal is so poor and these dont get anything close to what is advertised.  And strangely enough we get a high upload speed than download.

 

Appreciate this is a separate issue but feel it may be related.
