Hi, new customer of around a week. Not been very impressed having moved from Skyafter 15 years. I watch a lot of catch up and the service is constantly glitchy and pixelated is there anything that can be done to improve this? Thanks.
The connection is as per the engineer set up. Looks like an ethernet with a yellow end. Recordings seem better than on demand. Not sure if it's related but internet has been hit and miss too (should be up to 350) but can run as low as 50mbps at times?
Unless it’s a direct cause of the catch up issue, I’m less worried about the internet speed. Whilst it does go as low as 50mbps equally I’ve speed tested it at up round 200+ (although still not 350 I guess!). Any suggests regarding the poor catch up quality. How do I get a response from VM direct?
This issue seems to be specifically catch up. I watched a couple of episodes of the Gadget Show from 5 HD, one of which was recorded and was great, the other from catch up and the picture quality was noticeably poorer and the glitching was present throughout. If any one has any suggestions I’d be really grateful. I’m actually wishing I’d stuck with Sky at the moment 😞
Hi Gareth. As per my earlier post, this issue isn't just specific to Channel 5 HD and is happening on ALL catch up TV. Constant artifacting and break ups. Can this please be investigated? As for the WiFi, that swings from bad to good to great, if there is something you could do to make it consistently great then that would be a help, but the catch up issue is a bigger problem I'd like solving if possible. Thanks
