Can't view TV guide. Error M58. How to reactivate TiVo?

Ethernet connection was disconnected for > 30 days. From other posts the tvBox needs  to be reactivated. tried calling virgin media but lines busy

Hi was your box disconnected as well if so then it probably will need to be reactivated, more details than just an ethernet disconnected would be helpful. Regards Micky

Without an internet connection, the Guide can’t update.

You simply need to do a network connection.

Hi, yes sorry, the TV working fine but can't use TV guide, get M58 error. Turns out I had moved the TiVo box over a month ago and the ethernet connection had popped out so disconnected for > 30days appears to be why I am getting the error. But reconnecting, restarting etc all not working. In another post someone said you need to call Virgin Media to reactivate the box. Lines are busy and that seem strange that I would need to call to reactivate. Thanks.

Indeed. Tried all this. Same error. Still says Ethernet cable is unplugged. Thanks.

If your box has been deactivated, it should flag this with a 7400 error. The resolution for that is to call in and reactivate it.

Have you checked both ends of the ethernet cable are connected fully and also another ethernet cable?

You could also try resetting the box from the menu.

If it's not showing an error 7400 and you can get all your channels it's unlikely to need re-activated.

Yes tried all this with different ethernet cables too. Tried disconnecting and reconnecting virgin cable and full restart also. no joy. 

Next I'll try reset the box from the menu. thanks.
