It should have been a self-install as I previously had Virginmedia and was returning. However their call centre staff made a monumental error and made it an engineer visit - which I had to pay £25 for !!
If I was able to go down the self-install route.... I'd have had the self install kit - which would have included the required coax splitter.
When the engineer visited he was baffled why he was needed.... all the connections and wiring were present. He literally had to plug it in and set it up... something I could have done!.
