Buy and upgrade

We (85 and 79 years old) want to upgrade to V6 and faster broadband to watch more streaming including especially Amazon Prime. Please, how do we do it?

We have tried online (and we are quite expert there) and on telephone for about 3 hrs and got nowhere.

Hi Ian35,

Unfortunately you need to contact VM directly as the Forum Team don't have access to enable them to change your package.

You might be able to regrade by signing into My Virgin Media at the top of the page and clicking on upgrades and offers. 

However this method often gives an "oops error", especially if you either already have a discount and the systems require an extra bit of manipulation by the agents to set up any new discounts, or because the package you are on is no longer sold and again requires the extra manipulation by agents to change the package.

The other two methods are:-

You could try the text messaging service. Just send  a text with a description of regrade  to 07533 051809. Your message will go into a queue and a representative will respond to you as soon as possible. It may take a few days

You can also call  150 (again) from your a landline, or 0345 454 1111, options 1,1 and 4 (Changes to your package) but best to call at 8am to avoid call queues
