Broken tv cable connection

I have a broken cable connection in the back of my tv. Do you know if I could still run a virgin media tv box without using thus at all?

Re: Broken tv cable connection

Do you mean the TV box or the TV itself?

As far as the box is concerned no coax connection, no live channels. There also will be problems if the box reboots, as it must load all the TV channels as part of the reboot process. If it doesn’t find channels the reboot will hang.

If however you are talking about a coax into the TV itself, then no. You don’t need it, as all the channels come through the white Virgin coax.

Re: Broken tv cable connection

My V6 boots up without a coax connection, and I get all apps, games, Catch Up and On Demand. All that's missing is live TV.
