BritBox UK

Will Virgin be supporting the new BritBox UK service through an app on the V6 box?

Re: BritBox UK

As it’s not launching until next year you will have to wait & see.

Nobody here will be able to give you an answer, as even if negotiations were taking place these would be commercially sensitive & subject to non disclosure by anyone involved.

Re: BritBox UK

It appears that you are not as insightful as your by-line suggests.

You are incorrect in your assertion that it's not launching until next year.

BritBox UK launched a few days ago on Thursday 7th November.

At the moment BritBox UK is only available on Apple & Android devices, some Samsung smart TVs and some web browsers. My TV is none of those so I was hoping that Virgin would be supporting it so I could watch it on my TV via the V6 box.

Re: BritBox UK

Hi Nidome

Thanks for posting on our forum.

I am really sorry, at this time we do not have an agreement with BritBox UK.  Once we have an update, we will make an announcement.  Please keep an eye here for any updates.

Hope this helps you.

Re: BritBox UK

i certainly won't be getting it. it has all been seen before on uk gold/drama/yesterday etc. as many have said elsewhere they have also refused to show several programmes they deem wrong. the same programmes you can freely buy on dvd right now.

Re: BritBox UK

What exactly is the point of BritBox anyway? Its just the same box sets that are already available on iPlayer and ITV Hub, no?!!!

BritBox is essentially iPlayer and ITV Hub rolled into one service.....

Re: BritBox UK

There is a lot on BritBox UK which is not in iPlayer or ITV Hub.

But there is also more on BritBox US which is not on BritBox UK.
