I upgraded my service this morning online to the Big Bundle + Sports. I’ve had the order confirmation email but not had a welcome email and my channels have not been updated. Does anyone know how quickly VM activate new services?

If you made the change online, it is still processed "offline" by a C/S agent, so can take upto 48hours to be activated.
If you follow Home > Help & Settings > Help > TV Care, there is an option under "I'm missing some channels" to refresh your channel list. I'd suggest periodically using this option.

Upgrading over the phone is done almost immediately, however any other method can take up to 48 hours as it needs to be manually updated.
