BBC iplayer not loading

BBC iplayer app comes up but click on a programme and it won't load it just freezes on the BBC logo.

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing problems with the BBC iPlayer app on your TV box. This can sometimes happen if your box has been turned on, or in standby mode for a long period of time. Can you please try performing a full reboot of the box, by switching it off at the back for 30 seconds and switching it back on?

If a reboot doesn't help, please try performing the following action on your TV Box:
Help & Settings > Settings > Network > Connect to the Virgin Media Service now
