There is a 3.5mm stereo audio jack on the back of the V6, but the volume output is at a set level as it is meant for amplifier or sound bar use & not for Headphones.
I would always try the TV first, as some of the latest ones do not cut out the speakers when you plug Headphones in. Some sets also have a menu option in the settings for this, as it helps viewers with hearing impairment to use Headphones at the same time as the speakers.
