Apps not working

The apps on my virgin media box are not loading. When I click on an app it freezes the whole screen or it doesn’t load at all. Tried all the troubleshooting suggestions and nothing is working. What’s going on and how can I fix this?

Which apps are you having problems with?

Good questions! 

I have a v6 box and have tried restarting the box a couple of times. The apps either freeze the tv when I try loading it, or sometimes it isn’t opening at all. 

All my apps aren’t working - Netflix, Amazon Prime, Channel 4, BBC iPlayer

Can you watch OnDemand programmes at all? (not ones via streaming apps)

Try (non-BBC) Catchup programmes directly from the TV Guide if you're not sure. Click "OK" and "watch from catchup"

Are you viewing on a Samsung or 4K UHD TV by any chance?

Hi, on demand seems to working fine. 

I’ve got a Samsung tv. It seems that when I visit “my shows” the box is freezing there so I have to switch it off and in again to unfreeze it. It is taking a while to restart now too. Not sure what is going on!
