Amber light TiVo v6

Hi

For the past few days I haven't been able to watch TV on my second TiVo V6 box, it seems to be stuck in some boot loop the only thing that appears on the screen is "Welcome" in English and other languages, then that screen turns off then back on but sometimes the Amber light will flash and a black screen will appear with a downloading icon but nothing happens! 

Steps I've tried:

Restarting the box (multiple times)

Unplugging the box for 10 minutes

Restarting the box with HDMI out

Changed the HDMI CABLE/PORT on TV

Ran tests on the "service status" online

Checked all the cables are secure 

Any help would be appreciated or an Engineer.

Your best bet is to call Virgin faults to report what sounds like a stuck box.

Just check first, that the box has a working internet connection as this is required for any software updates - how is it connected to your homehub?

Hi bud, I use an Ethernet to connect the TiVo box in question, I have tried to ring customer service but get the message "the Call centres are closed"
