How to adjust the the font of subtitles?

Fairly sure you can't - you either enable or disable them.

I will check the menus on my V6 later, but am not confident the option exists.

I'm so sorry but we do not have this feature available on the V6 box, I will happily pass this on feedback on however to the relevant teams to consider for future updates.
