Can you add apps to virgin media TV box? Like twitch or WWE network?

All VM boxes are locked down, so no apps can be added.

I’m paying for the Man City+ app which was available on fire stick but not on my tv or on virgin. How do I get access to it now?

You will have to continue to use the Firestick (or other streaming device that supports the app) for that, in one of your TV's other HDMI ports.
