7400 code

Hi all can someone help my second box got installed today and its only got a few channels and says error code 7400 currently on the phone to virgin and have  been for the past 1hour and 30 minutes

Hi Stel28,

Try rebooting the V6 please. If the channels are still greyed out then you need to phone 0800 953 9500 to get your box activated.

You will need your account number and area code, and the serial number for the new box.  I believe the activation line closes at 8pm

It's best to call at 8am to avoid call queues
