virgin media mini box

16 months ago I signed a new contract which included a mini box and at the time i asked if i could have the installation for the mini box to be delayed till I was ready to have it installed but never did but when after a number of hours talking to retentions and upgrading to a new volt contract i asked about having the mini box installed and they said I have all ready had it installed and I have never had one installed at all and they say according to my contract I have but I have not I have tried to get this problem sorted I have said i will leave Virgin and get another supplier but they have said they will request to have the equipment back which I understand and the mini box i never had they will request a payment for it as I have never had so if any body from Virgin picks this up could they help me please or if anybody else with any idea how to sort this problem I would be grateful. Thanks

If this happens to anyone else, ask for them to provide the registered serial number of each device. That forces a lookup rather than assume just by the package subscribed to that customer has it...

I got Virgin to install 3 boxes, 1 downstairs and 2 in the bedrooms. They do a good job and the wiring is discreetly placed. The sky UI is better than Virgin, but the Virgin remote is much better, it lights when lifted, great at night time lol. I'm paying less than half the price with sky, and get an extra mini box.
