v6 to 360 upgrade

hiya ive had the upgrade kit and remotes for a few days and no way of upgrading the box there is nothing on home screen or apps for this , after phoning the tech support who was to be  honest so rude  i was told i have to wait a few days (what for) he wouldnt reply and put the phone down , 

surely if it was a signal required this would have been sorted at the time virgin sales team spoke to me re upgrading or is this yet another foul up on virgins long list of bog ups ......

Hi, I was in the same situation as you. I called up VM and they pushed the 360 update to my V6 box - note this is running the update itself, not just pushing the app.

BTW, I have a Hub 3 router.

I have had the upgrade kit of remotes and mini box for a few days and have no link to upgrade on the v6 box home screen or app chatting to a virgin tech who was to honest rude  I'm told I have to wait for someone to do something with the signal to my v6 to show upgrade link  , this should have been done in advance of the kit arriving , poor service

Hi Hughy, I was in the same boat as you, in my case a Virgin engineer had to call to get the thing up and running because as part of my package my BB was upgraded which necessitated a new Hub (Hub3 to Hub5).
So it may simply be a case of an engineer needing to call?
But this was never made clear to me until I called (which obviously is pretty pants).
